Shana Washington-Ford

With heavy hearts, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Washington-Ford Family, announce the transition of 52-year-old year Mrs. Shana Washington-Ford of 4607 Tyler Rd., Kinston on Monday, March 6, 2023, at UNC Lenoir Health Care.

Service will be held 2:00pm Sunday, March 12, 2023 from St. Peter COC DOC, burial will follow in the Southview Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 4 to 6 pm from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.

Mrs. Ford is survived by her husband-Timothy Ford of Durham, NC, four daughters-Bianca Washington of Raleigh, Brianna Ford of Texas, Brooke Ford of Durham, and Brittani Ford of Kinston, three brothers-Tavares Washington of  Massachusetts, Deshawn Washington of Carrboro, NC and Cardiesse Veal of illinois, one sister-Angel Wells of Charlotte, NC, five grandchildren a host of other relatives and friends.
