Stanley J. Bracey

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Bracey Family, announce the transition of 89-year-old Mr. Stanley Junior Bracey of 1003 West Road, Kinston, NC 28504, on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at his home. 

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from GOD's House for All People, 481 Whitfield Drive, Kinston, NC 28504. Burial will follow the services at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro, NC. Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday evening, July 14, 2026, from the Robert Swinson Jr. Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Stanley is survived by his wife, Olivia Chatman-Bracey, of the home; son, Michael Andre Bracey, of Baltimore, Md; daughters, Diahann C. Bracey and Alesha S. Bracey, both of Baltimore, Md; granddaughter, Racquel Barnes; and great-grandchildren, Journey Barnes and Joseph Barnes, Jr all of Baltimore, Md. Stanley also leaves behind a host of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends, along with a special grandson, Zacchaeus Jones of Kinston.
