Tammer Joyner

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Joyner Family, announce the transition of 90-year-old Mrs. Tammer Joyner of Kinston on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at her home.

The service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the Church of Faith and Deliverance; burial will follow in Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.

Mrs. Tammer is survived by two sons, William E. Edmonson, Jr., Kelvin Edmonson of Kinston, two daughters, Ella Joyner, Joyce Edmonson of Kinston, six sisters, Thelma Wood of Kinston, Dieann Joyner of Boston, Dorothy Kelley, Linder Carol Joyner of New Jersey, Electric Mae Graham of Clayton, NC , Deloris Tatum of St. Louis, Missouri and a host of grands and great grands and other relatives and friends.
