With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Barnes family, announce the transition of 80-year-old Miss Thelma Lee Barnes of 206 Lee Street, Kinston, on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, NC.
A memorial service was held Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 10:00 am at the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial.
