Theodore "Wessie" Roosevelt Moore

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Moore Family, announce the transition of 88-year-old Mr. Theodore R. Moore of 3878 Grifton-Hugo Road-Grifton on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at his home.

Service will be held at 12 noon on Monday, October 9, 2023, from Savannah Free Will Baptist Church; burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.  Visitation from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2023, from 4 to 6 p.m..

Mr. Moore is survived by his wife-Mrs. Ethel Hicks Moore of the home, one son-Eddie E. Moore of LaGrange, NC, three daughters-Annie Moore of the home, Yvonne Rouse, of Kinston, NC and Lisa Taylor of Wake Forest, NC, three sisters-Minnie P. Sanders-Grifton, NC, Elder Louvenia Sutton of Winterville, NC, Annie M. King of Grifton, NC, twenty-three grandchildren, twenty-great grandchildren, and two great, great grands.
