Torry Gardner

With heavy and sorrowful hearts, we, the staff and management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, join the Gardner family in announcing the transition of Mr. Torry Gardner, known to many as the "Face" of Kinston, NC., on Monday, December 2, 2024. 

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from the Bread of Life Gospel Tabernacle in Grifton, NC, with burial to follow in the LaGrange Cemetery. Visitation from the Robert Swinson Jr. Memorial Chapel will be held Wednesday evening from 4 to 6 pm.

Mr. Gardner is survived by his parents- Dexter Cannon of Kinston and Brenda Gardner Mills of Goldsboro; one daughter-Tashaeya Blue of Fayetteville; one son-Deonte Gardner of Raleigh; one grand and four great-grands.
