The Staff & Mangement of Swinson Funeral Services, Inc. joins in sorrow with the family of Ms. Vara Cotton, 95, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2016 at Signature Health Care.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at the Hull Road F.W.B.Church with committal services taking place in the Pinelawn Cemetery. A public visitation will take place on Friday, April 1, 2016 from 4:00-7:00 PM from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.

Survivors include: three sons, Alfred Cotton, Sr., of Kinston, Lemuel Cotton, of Maryland, and Robert Cotton of Winterville;  six daughters, Barbara Sutton of Kinston, Pauline White of South Carolina, Doris Robertson of New York, Emma Cotton-Davis of Kinston, Mildred Simmons of Kinston, and Eva G. Lowery of Garner, NC.; and one sister.
