With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Allen Family, announce the transition of 80-year-old Verna Bell Allen of 114 W. King Street, La Grange, NC, on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at UNC Health Lenoir.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Robert Swinson Jr. Memorial Chapel. Entombment will follow the services in the Evergreen Memorial Estate. Visitation from the Funeral Home will be held Friday from 3 to 6 p.m.
