Vernell Blecker

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Service, along with the Bruton and Blecker families, announce the transition of 71-year-old Vernell Blecker of La Grange, who went home to glory on October 7, 2021, at Duke Hospital in Durham.

Services will be on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at 1:00 PM at the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel. Burial will take place in the Pinelawn Memorial Park following the funeral service. A public visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.
