Wesley Lewis, Jr.

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Funeral Services along with the Lewis Family announce the transition of 80 year old Mr. Wesley Lewis, Jr. of 206 E. Capitola Ave., Kinston, on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at ECU Medical Center, Greenville.

Service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the United American Free Will Baptist Tabernacle, burial will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park.  Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 pm on Friday, October 3, 2025 at the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lola Lender Lewis of the home, two sons, Bobby Lender of Burlington, NC, and Calvin Lender of Kinston, one daughter, Laura Graham of Kinston, five brothers, Eldon Lewis of Charlotte, NC, Preston Lewis, Johnnie Lewis, Larry Lewis of Kinston and Ernest Steven Lewis of St. Maria, California, five sisters, Linnie Mills, Etta Lewis, Edna Lender, Katherlene Sutton of Kinston and Martha Lewis of Mattapan, Ma., seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
