William Jones

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Service, along with the Jones Family, announce the transition of 95-year-old Mr. William Jones, on July 6, 2023, at River Oak Assisted Living, Grifton.

Service will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, July 11, 2023 from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel, burial to follow in Southview Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Monday, July 10, 2023 from 4 to 6pm from the chapel

Mr. Jones is survived by two daughters- Valeria Taylor and Thelma Parker of Kinston, one brother-Oscar Jones of Kinston, five sisters-Alberta Munn of Elizabethtown, NC, Isabelle Brown of  Beulahville, NC, Marie Brown, Maggie Munn of Pink Hill and Pearl Campbell of Maryland, ten grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
