William Henry Moore, Sr.

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services along with the Moore Family announce the transition of 74-year-old Mr. William Moore of 150 Kansas Road, Dover, NC on Monday, December 22, 2025, at his home.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday from the River of Life Christian Center. Burial will follow the services in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 26, 2025, from 4 to 6 pm at the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.

Deacon Moore is survived by his wife, Carolyn Moore of the home, two sons, Tyrone Moore of Maryland and William H. Moore, Jr. of Washington, DC, one daughter, Barbara Dixon of New Bern, NC, four brothers, Gilbert Moore of Dover, Paul Moore of New Bern, Elmer Moore of South Carolina, and Tyrone Moore of Kinston, three sisters, Rosa Moore, Lena Moore and Ardenia Burney of Kinston and a host of grands, and other relatives and friends.
