Willie Lee "Newt" Hines

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services along with the Hines Family announce the transition of Mr. Willie Lee "Newt" Hines of 2448 May Drive, Winterville, NC on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at ECU Medical Center in Greenville. 

Service will be held 11:00 am Thursday, October 24, 2024 from Mt. Shiloh MBC in Winterville, NC, burial will follow in the State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro, NC.  Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from the 4 to 6pm from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Hines is survived by his wife-Carolyn Hines of the home, one son-Willie L. Hines, Jr. of Kinston, five daughters-Gloris Hines of Winterville, Sheila Hines of Georgia, Karen Fedderman of Snow Hill, Mary Cannon of La Grange and Faye Sutton of Kinston  a host of grands and great grands.
