With heavy hearts, we, the staff and management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Prince and extended families, announce the transition of Mr. Willis Prince, who transitioned Thursday, October 12, 2023, at ECU Health Center in Greenville, NC.

Service will be held at noon. on Sunday, October 22, 2023, from St. Matthews FWB Church in La Grange, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, October 21, 2023, from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.

Survivors are his daughter-April Prince of Bronx, New York; four brothers-Sylvester Pearson of Winterville, NC, Steve Pearson of Georgia, Max Pearson of La Grange, and Vougus Prince of Raleigh; one sister-Vera Pearson of Kinston; three grandchildren.
