The Staff & Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services and the Stroud family regretfully announces the transition of 87-year-old, Willie Stroud, of New Bern., who passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, peacefully at home.

Graveside Services will be on Wednesday, May27, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Southview Cemetery.  A public visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 from 4:00 PM-5:00 PM from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.

D ue to social distancing for the COVID-19 pandemic, a public floating visitation will be limited to 10 at a time and funeral services will be limited to 50 people, which is consistent with the current recommendations from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
